Job Purpose: The Retail Management Specialist will work directly with the Onboarding, Retail Consolidation, Customer Account Management and Executive teams while ensuring shared successes with additional RJW teams. This position will report to the Director of Retail Management. The Retail Management Specialist will also be responsible for working on departmental and organizational projects as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities
· Create and cultivate relationships with RJW retail consolidation partners. Focusing on operational individuals and key stakeholders across the retailer’s organization with the goal of extending the presence of RJW and acting as a main point of contact representing RJW.
· Assist the Director of Retail Management in updating and communicating changes to any retail partners as well as with internal RJW teams. Make available adjustments as necessary with the retailer representative to advocate for RJW customers, balance inventory, and confirm data integrity.
· Manage RJW process as it relates to specific retailers and the programs necessary to meet standards. Regularly review these processes and adjust them as necessary to ensure continued success, continuity, and compliance. Review any changes internally within RJW to ensure that process change is adhered to and can be implemented company wide without disturbance to daily activities.
· Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of RJW process as to articulate requirements and create new solutions for retail programs. Work internally to develop solutions and help implement across all necessary functional groups within RJW.
· Work directly with Escalations and Wizard Management team to review all applicable retailer routing rules and help implement any necessary changes for the execution of those rule groups.
· Use KPI metrics to evaluate RJW operations and carrier partners against retailer requirements. Hold individuals and groups within RJW to the standards set by the retailer partners by performing root cause analysis and implement improvement plans as necessary.
· Create and update reporting suite to monitor and maintain Retailer Compliance. Work with the Director of Retail Management on any inconsistent compliance metrics, and work with the Customer Account Management team for any vendor related compliance issues.
· Collaborating with the Onboarding Team to handle new vendor sync requests to any retailer necessary.
· Monitor and maintain our Retailer Review Schedules, identify potential OTIF Fines for our vendors and work directly with the retailers for exemptions as necessary.
· Independently manage and identify order compliance issues with customers, determine the cause, work with the customer and or specific retailer to correct those issues.
· Use Independent judgement to make decisions regarding Retailer Lead Time Schedules, retailer compliance issues.

Qualifications:
· 3 years’ experience in Account Management in the logistics/transportation field and or retail market.
· Minimum 2-year supervisory experience
Education and/or Experience Required:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Language Skills Sets:
· Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Mathematical Skills:
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to determine “root cause” of problem and determine corrective action.
Computer Skills:
· To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Business Operating Systems, Internet software, Word Processing, KPI reporting, and Spreadsheet software.
Physical Demands:
· Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
· Must be able to activate phone systems utilizing keyboards and buttons.
· Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others.
· Regularly works in an indoor/office environment and required to sit and/or use repetitive hand motion.
· Frequently required to talk, hear, stand and walk.
· Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required.
· Must be able to work under stressful situations, have good cognitive skills, maintain work accuracy, and the ability to concentrate on more than one task at a time.
· Must have the ability to read and discern visual images on a variety of media with 20/20 corrected vision.
· Must be able to speak and communicate clearly over telephones.
· Must be in sound physical health as determined by a certified licensed physician with no evidence of the use of controlled substances.
Work Environment:
· While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment will range from quiet to moderately loud.
· Ability to travel up to 20% of the calendar year for visitation to retail partner corporate or warehouse locations.
