Job Summary:
To process payroll, maintain payroll records, resolve all payroll issues, and provide back up for the Director of Total Rewards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Process payroll on a weekly basis
•Maintain weekly files on payroll records
•Resolve payroll questions and errors
•Ensure that all pay records are received from different departments before starting payroll
•Update and maintain PTO balances
•Enter and maintain all new hire information
•Submit finalized payrolls to ADP WFN for processing
•Provide backup for benefits
Provide backup to the Front Desk - Receptionist
•Set up and run reports as needed
•All other duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
· Assist with: garnishments, terminations, tax codes, audits, ADP security levels, Performance & Review module, and any new ADP modules
Qualifications:
•Detail oriented - requires high degree of accuracy
•Strong PC background, Excel, Word
•Experienced in automated payroll processing systems
•Knowledge of Benefits Administration
•Good communications, problem resolution and people skills
•Ability to make decisions and be a good problem solver for employee issues
•Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
Education and/or Experience Required:
· At least 3 years of experience in full cycle payroll in ADP WFN
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Experience with multi state payrolls highly preferred
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals. Ability to write letters and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all groups of employees, customers, and clients.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic computer knowledge.
